Job Description

Manages all Controlling related topics for Gardena, CA, Arkadelphia, AR and Moses Lake, WA. Assures the accurate and timely preparation and reporting of results including necessary analyses and advice to aid in the identification or resolution of problem areas and in planning and decision making

Key Accountabilities

•The Candidate will be THE financial business partner providing easy-to-understand financial analysis to the local leadership team and, in case of deviations, suggest countermeasures with the aim to improve the financial performance of the sites.
•Evaluate business operations and make recommendations for value creation. This includes capital investments and cost reduction initiatives.
•Work with the local leadership team to manage the business with sound financial background and clear bottom-line orientation (Sales, EBIT, Working Capital management, etc.).
•Provide timely and accurate analysis of monthly financial data and financial trends in order to assist other senior leaders in performing their responsibilities
•Proactively analyze gross margins and review with Sales and Operations for enhancement
•Review product costing of new and existing products in SAP in line with corporate and local policies and guidelines for the area of responsibility
•Ongoingly improve internal processes, SAP usage and thereby ensure master data quality
•Initiate and take the lead for our budgeting (operative planning and medium-term planning) and forecasting process, as well as risk management
•Ensures an orderly stock taking and valuation in line with corporate valuation procedures.
•Assists in the roll out of all newly approved International Financial Reporting standards and internal controls as directed by Corporate or Regional Corporate office.
•Prepares all accounting requirements and reporting of government contracts in accordance with published government regulations and guidelines (FARs and DFARs)
•Assists with the preparation of proposals for both commercial and government customers
•Supports annual and audits, as requested by corporate office, with all relevant data and information.
•Supports tax audits including provision of relevant information.
•Travel required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with focus on Controlling, Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 10 years professional experience in Controlling and/or executive level of financial management within an international manufacturing environment.
• Experience/knowledge regarding SAP modules FI/CO/MM/PP/SD and MS Excel.
• Experience in managing direct reports.
